Sketching a choir

Take a dried up, broad nib, calligraphy felt pen. Start drawing, watch as the view changes because the line up of images moves when you have the songsheet with the words displayed. Try and sing and draw at the same time! It’s hard to look down at your sketchbook, up at the words, and across to your fellow choir members. I challenged them to try and recognise themselves from these crude sketches.

  1. Haaa! That must be extraordinarily difficult. I think it took several areas of the brain, all trying to “do their own thing” while producing two completely different outputs (singing, drawing). AMAZING!! If this is too intrusive please ignore, but I’m curious to know what the music was. I taught music (thousands of years ago) and am interested in how musicians are coping with COVID. β™₯️ the sketch!!!!! Each has a distinct face!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
