In a cafe in Burslem a couple of years ago. I was surprised to see a bike hanging on the wall, spray painted gold. A nice decoration? Possibly. Hopefully it’s well attached to the wall. I guess it’s OK to do this. I’ve seen cart wheels and farm implements as decorations before so, yeah, why not?

You see a lot of this done in Australia Christine. We have a lot of rail trails (former railway lines) for cyclists, walkers and horse riders and at our local one you see a variety of old push bikes painted up to promote the rail trail.

Good idea. I’ve seen them in Yorkshire for the tour of Yorkshire (like a mini tour de France)
