I’m trying to use the block editor, I’m not happy. It’s like using word all your life and you are suddenly given a mac computer. Not sure what I’m doing or how to add content, tabs, categories, sharing. Very annoyed. WordPress 0/10!

I had to call my daughter to help me find the categories and tags. It’s a pain. My post came out with a box around the text. Don’t know how that happened.

Yes. Half the time I can’t find the tags, even though I’ve done them. The results are not good, it’s dispiriting.

A blogger called pedantry put a link in the comments on my post today to go back to the old editor. I didn’t check it out yet but I might for the next post. Maybe you can find the info if you click on the link in the comments.

I am totally with you on this. I used to be a software engineer but I still hate this horrible new design they’ve implemented.

I’ve seen so many people struggling with this new editor that I was thinking about setting up a new WordPress Account to figure the editor out and, once I understand it myself, to blog on simple direct ways to use it? Do you think that would be a useful thing to do?
